Riders simply press a button to start recording in 1280 by 720 resolution at 30 frames per second when they start their trip, pressing the button again to stop the recording when they arrive at their destination. The unit will also record the audio with the video so there is a complete record of everything that happened during the ride. Inside the CNC machined aircraft-grade aluminum case is a full eight 8 gigabytes of internal memory, enough for two and a half hours of recordings that are saved in five minute intervals for easy access. Rideye will last up to a month on a single charge and is rechargeable through a mini-USB connection.
