FlyKly is a new idea in e-bike technology neatly packaged in a wheel hub design.

FlyKly is a pedal assist system that can be installed on just about any bike giving the rider electric power to keep their cruising speed and get where they are going fast. The lightweight nine-pound system including the 250-watt electric motor and 36-volt lithium ion battery array is bundled smartly in a waterproof housing on the back wheel. The system uses Bluetooth to communicate to a smartphone app to set the top speed as well as other features like wheel locking, favorite routes and even bicycle tracking through GPS should your bike be stolen. FlyKly has a range of up to thirty miles at the top speed of twenty miles an hour and uses smart regenerative technology charging the batteries when it is not maintaining the cruising speed.

The battery array on the FlyKly is a long-lasting 1000 charging cycles and can be fully recharge through a standard outlet in about three hours. The FlyKly system will be available in the spring of 2014 and will come fully assembled in your choice of eight colors just in time for the summer cruising season.
