We use products sold in tubes every day from toothpaste to creams and ointments and when the product inside gets low, so do the creative ways of getting the last contents out. Squizmo is a simple innovation that is long overdue.
Squizmo, short for, “Squeezing Gizmo” is a device that attaches to the end of most tubes and as the knob is turned, every bit of the contents inside is pushed out. Squizmo may look like a simple device, but the tool is actually engineered and tested to be durable and functional for many years to come. Squizmo can also be used to transfer product from a larger tube to a smaller, travel tube and then seal that smaller tube, saving packing space and money.
Squizmo is targeting a fall release date in 2014 and will be available in limited colors, even offering custom text for personalization. Squizmo is manufactured using 3D-additive printing technology and they are offering the CAD files as well as a short lesson in 3D printing to backers of their Kickstarter campaign for just 5 bucks.
