Hockey is a game that requires more than skating skill; it also requires a great amount of finesse and control. For the first time ever, players at all levels will be able to analyze their game with the FWD Powershot hockey stick insert from the Quattriuum Team.
The FWD Powershot is a game-tracking device that inserts in the top of any junior or senior composite hockey stick. During a game or practice session, the device will keep track of several metrics including the speed of the stick, the duration, angle, acceleration and speed of rotation of your shot and the speed of the puck. Each shot is stored on the device and the system will record up to one thousand shots. The FWD Powershot will operate on a single charge between four and twelve hours based on the outside temperature and is rechargeable through USB. The device communicates wirelessly with your smart device over Bluetooth and using the FWD Sportscard app, players can analyze or share their stats in real time.
The FWD Powershot is a complete game-changer at any level. Players and coaches of the sport will finally know, in real time, what part of their game is strong and where they need improvement. The FWD Powershot has a Kickstarter in the works and are hoping to start shipping units by the end of the year, just in time for hockey season.
