Getting the best sound from a speaker means reducing vibration from contact with solid surfaces. CrazyBaby knows this, which is why their new portable speaker levitates.
Mars Craft is a Bluetooth speaker system that delivers high fidelity sound in 360-degrees while impressively levitating above the subwoofer base. The speaker uses a neodymium motor system in combination with aptX audio codec compression to produce CD-like quality audio over wireless streaming. Up to two Mars systems can be controlled from the Mars application to produce stereo sound for up to eight hours on a single charge with automatic inductive charging occurring while parked. The floating speaker does not rely on the base for operation making it portable, and with the same magnetic base that magically levitates the speaker, you can attach it to any metal surface wherever you go.
Both the speaker unit and the subwoofer base are built into an aircraft-grade aluminum case for durability and the speaker is also waterproof up to three feet. Mars will be available in early 2015 with an estimated retail price tag around 250 bucks with backers of their Indiegogo grabbing one, or two for a discount.
